This 2 disc DVD set is a video record of a 15 day trip to The Gambia taken in the month of November. Arrangements were by 'Birdfinders' who are based in Dorset.
The tour leader was Vaughan Ashby, assisted by local guides Solomon Jallow and Sering Bojang. Areas visited include Abuko, Yundum Woods, Brufut Woods, Lamin village, Marakissa, Daresalami & Tanji. There was also a four day excursion inland to Tendaba, Georgetown and Basse, so as to have the opportunity of seeing species such as Egyptian Plover, Red-throated and Carmine Bee-eater which do not occur near the coast.
This was a memorable trip with a large selection of beautiful and accommodating birds encountered!
