The Canary Islands are located just off the north-west coast of mainland Africa. They are made up of seven main islands and six islets. These islands are a major attraction for birdwatchers from all over the world as they are home to many endemic species and subspecies including Fuerteventura Chat, Blue Chaffinch and Bolle's and Laurel Pigeon. The aim of this DVD is to give you an introduction to two of these islands, Tenerife and Fuerteventura, exploring the huge range of habitats and bringing you footage of the birds you can expect to find.
