This two-disc DVD set is a video diary of a 14 day birding trip to Panama taken in February 2020. Panama is bordered by Costa Rica on one side and Colombia on the other and holds an extraordinary diversity of birds with in excess of 970 species recorded there.
The holiday arrangements were by Birding Panama and the leader was 'Kilo', who has a deserved reputation as being one of the best guides in the country.
As well as the central part of Panama - Pipeline Road, Old Gamboa, etc. the tour also included the Western Highlands, and - most significantly, Darien Province.
In addition to a host of stunning birds, including Harpy Eagle, Resplendent Quetzal, Long-tailed Silky-flycatcher, Black-faced Solitaire, various Trogons, Motmots and Hummingbirds, etc., the DVD's also feature excellent sequences of both Two-toed and Three-toed Sloth, plus White-nosed Coati.
